My favorite store in the Lansing area is Foods For Living on the corner of Grand River and Park Lake rd. They carry a lot of vegan food which is great for a GFCF individual. But you still have to read labels! This is why I created the “Favorite Brands” Blog page. Make sure to check it out!
Whole Foods is another great store that I’ve heard about from many people. Unfortunately the closest store is in Ann Arbor. I wish we had one in Lansing!
Meijer also has Gluten-Free section, but it’s not all Casein-free.
A Piece O’ Cake in East Lansing makes GFCF treats. They specialize in wedding cakes but devote their kitchen to GF baking on Tuesday’s. Some of their treats are Casein free as well. Just make sure to ask. Kelly is the owner and she used to be my neighbor (back in the day). I’ve tried her bread and banana muffins and they are amazing! She also made our wedding cake in June.
